SP2 Download

Mr Burrell's IB Biology class requested a download link to the SP2 download required to update XP before the deadline date at Songkran.

    what happens if we do not update our XP to SP2 before songkran? I am not sure if I have it yet or not, is there any way to check?

    Go to START

    in the RUN box type WINVER

    a box appears

    at the right hand end if it says

    sp2 your ok, if it says sp1 you need to update.

    WHY well...if you miss this deadline you will be unable to download patches from microsoft in the future. I dont want to recommend any action that you should take on your computer thats your business. This topic was covered well in the Bangkok Post Database last week. You would do well to read that article.

    or in startup see if the "windows 1985-2004) is there or not if it is there you have sp1 if it isnt you have sp2
